BagelBees | Long Beach, MS | CHP Meets Mississippi

Think back to your childhood, imagine baking your first batch of cookies. You mix the ingredients, scoop the dough, and slide your baking sheet into the oven. Then you impatiently pace around the kitchen, watching the timer, as the delicious scent of cookies fills the house. The timer finally goes off and warm air hits your face as you open the oven, and you get to enjoy a warm cookie dunked in ice-cold milk. Unless for some reason your cookies didn't turn out all that great, and in that case, you wouldn't be alone. The moment Stefanie Jantz, owner of BagelBees, took her inedible cookies out of the oven and realized baking wasn't just throwing stuff in a bowl, was the moment she fell in love with baking!

Stefanie is a U.S. Navy Veteran and self-taught baker of 25 years. At 10 years old, she began her journey in the kitchen experimenting with flavors of ramen, then moved her way to the oven with that first batch of not so yummy cookies. Since then, she has been feeding soldiers and sailors around the world perfecting her recipes, and this year she decided to make the leap and turn her passion into a career. Another passion of Stefanie's, and a big reason behind starting her business, is making people smile. Let me tell you, it's hard to walk out of BagelBees without a smile on your face. There are encouraging quotes on the walls and joyful colors everywhere, plus, if you aren't smiling while holding the fresh-baked deliciousness that comes from the BagelBees kitchen, you will be once you start eating it!

BagelBees offers homemade, hand-rolled bagels for breakfast and lunch, along with croissant sandwiches, and fresh-baked desserts. What the busy bees in the kitchen are most known for around Long Beach are their amazing CINNAMON ROLLS!! Seriously I have heard nothing but praise for these cinnamon rolls and I can't wait to get my hands on one, which I'll be doing the first Saturday that I can eat dairy again!

Stefanie and the ladies at BagelBees love this community and love to give back. When they regained power after Hurrican Zeta last week, they offered all linemen and first responders a free bagel with cream cheese, and she'll be doing the same for Veterans on November 11th! Make sure you stop by the bakery on Beatline and support this wonderful small business. Don't forget there are free ways to support local small businesses as well, you can like or share social media pages, leave a review, and tell your friends. If you send me a picture of your BagelBees receipt, you'll get 10% off a session booked within the same month!

**Discount valid until December 31st, 2020. Session must be booked within 30 days of purchase at BagelBees, receipt required for proof of purchase. Offer cannot be combined with any other discounts and can only be used when booking a full session.**
