Nothing makes my photographer heart happier than photographing people I know, and it's even better when I get to photograph friends from middle school! I have loved seeing my friends graduate college, get their dream job, get married, or have little ones! I love seeing them happy, but since I joined the Navy and moved across the country, I haven't been able to really celebrate with them, and I definitely haven't been able to capture it for them either (except when your BFF flies to Norfolk to spend the week with you to celebrate her college graduation).
When I found out Riley and his fiancé, Kasey, were having a baby and moving less than 15 minutes from my house, I was beyond excited, and when they scheduled a date for an in-home newborn session, I literally jumped with joy! Riley and I went to middle and high school together, we've even been to Costa Rica together, and the Navy has brought us together again, but this time we are all grown up with kiddos of our own!
I could probably spend all day writing about how much I loved getting to spend time and catch up with this sweet family and how much I love baby snuggles, but today, I will spare you. Without further ado, meet Harper Ruth Petsch!
